If you are experiencing slowness in loading documents to the MT platform, it is a good idea to test the connection between your internet service provider (ISP) and Scribe.
1. | Test the connection between your ISP and Scribe. |
• | Go to the start menu on your computer and select "Run." |
• | Type in “cmd ” and hit "OK." |
• | Type in “tracert www.scribe.com ” and hit "Enter." |
If any of the numbers that come up are over 50 milliseconds, contact your ISP about slow connectivity.
• | Select the server closet to you (usually hilited as a yellow pyramid) |
• | This will run the test. You should have at least 1 MB (1000 kbps) of throughput. |
If there is not at least 1MB of throughput, contact your ISP.
