The Scribe/AnyModal Edit Process |

The AnyModal Process consists of the stages Transform, Review, and Publish
It is important to remember that only those drafts that surpass the quality threshold are sent to the MTE for editing. This quality threshold was established to guarantee that editing the draft is faster than transcribing it from scratch. Some drafts will provide a higher productivity gain than other drafts – but only those drafts that will provide enough gain are sent for editing.
Review
AnyModal Edit is a productivity tool focused on supporting your ability to provide highly accurate medical reports in the most efficient manner. The application uses familiar controls and interfaces based on Microsoft Word. Playback is controlled using the foot pedal you are used to and Microsoft keyboard shortcuts work as anticipated. Since AnyModal Edit is focused on reviewing and editing, in addition to supporting typing from scratch, special features are provided to facilitate your editing work. AnyModal Edit allows you to complete your work more quickly while maintaining quality. The Review stage of the AnyModal Edit Process is where the MTE types or edits a document. Typing is done on those documents for which no draft could be generated, while editing is performed on drafts. The focus of this stage is the verification and submission of medically accurate documents. The Efficiency Techniques and Best Practices discussed in the MTE Training Program aids the MTE to transcribe and edit documents efficiently and productively. Publish
The final stage of the AnyModal Edit Process is the Automatic Formatting of the submitted document. Regardless of whether or not it was edited or transcribed, formatting is applied to the structure of the document before being returned to the customer. Remember that Automatic Formatting is controlled by a combination of Account Specification Settings and formatting that exists in the template. For questions about Automatic Formatting, speak with your Administrator. |
