Avoiding Duplicate Dictations in the Scribe System When Sent Via Email

 

Normally, Scribe is able to recognize a duplicate dictation sent to our system, and will inform the user by email that the dictation has been rejected by the system.  If you notice a duplicate in the system, open the DSS Player Pro Dictation Module Software and adjust the following setting:

 

Under Tools > Options > Receive tab > “Append tracking number to dictation filename when sending via E-mail/FTP” should be UNCHECKED as shown below.
