Charging for Reformatting

Problem:

 

How can we charge a customer for reformatting transcriptions?

 

Probable Cause:

 

A customer may request that documents be reformatted because they have opened those documents on a computer that does not have Word or because of some other technical problem on their end.

 

Solution:

 

If a customer repeatedly requests reformatting, the MT can charge the customer by doing the following:

 

1.Create a new document.

 

2.Cut and paste the old document contents into the blank document.
3.Make the necessary adjustments to the formatting.
4.Save and return to the customer
5.The system will automatically charge the customer for the lines of the new document.

 

Resolution:

 

You should now be able to bill for the reformatting services requested.
