Let us assume there is a company called "Scribble" that manages transcriptions for a hospital.  They farm out transcriptions to various MT companies.  Scribble is concerned about the quality of the transcription documents the come back from the MT companies. They have a QA system in place that will allow them to edit, approve, and reject the transcription documents after they are done at the MT company but before they get to the physician. This is Cobrand QA.

In that list of MT companies is a company called TransBest.  TransBest is concerned about their quality from certain queues they have, so they would like to edit, approve and reject the transcription documents before they ever leave their company (before getting to Scribble).  This is MT QA.
