Problem:
How can I change available Word toolbars while working with Scribe?
Probable Cause:
The Scribe toolbars will match the Word settings on the computer you are using for Scribe.
Solution:
To add or delete toolbars in Word:
| Open Word |
| Go to “View” |
| Select > Toolbars |
| Check the boxes of the toolbars you want to see; uncheck the boxes of those you do not wish to see. |
NOTE: If you are using a template, whatever toolbars were left active during the creation of that template will be visible to you when transcribing using it. If you need to see different toolbars on a templated document while in Scribe, you need only right click in a blank area of the available toolbars and turn on or off any toolbar.
NOTE: On the MT platform, the toolbars may be minimized. If you do not see the toolbar you are looking for, use the, ”>>” button to the far right of the toolbars - this will reveal hidden toolbars.
Resolution:
You should be able to access all of the Word toolbars you wish to use while on the Scribe platform.
