Problem
I get a “File Download” warning.
Probable Cause
Solution
The solution below should be used only if the download warning is extremely annoying to the user, as it affects the status of any Doc files they may download, not just Scribe files.
| Open the Control Panel. |
| Select: Folder Options > File Types. |
| Scroll to the DOC extension and select it. |
| Select the “Advanced” button near the bottom right. |
| In the popup, uncheck the “Confirm open after download” and check, “Browse in same window.” |
Resolution
This solution will eliminate the Download Warning, but again, should be used with caution.
