Problem

When using Word Spellchecker on the Scribe platform, I want the option to automatically re-check for misspelled words that may have been skipped on a previous run of Spellchecker.

Probable Cause

In Word, once a document has been Spell checked, it assumes that any words skipped within the document are correctly spelled, thus it does not re-check those words if you attempt to Spell check the document again. This can can be bypassed in Word, but the option cannot be accessed through the Scribe platform because the File, Edit, View menu is not available at the top of the Word screen.

Solution

Using Word, you can assign any available function to your toolbar and have access to it on the Scribe platform.

1.Start Word outside the Scribe platform.
2.From the menus select Tools -> Customize, then select the Commands TAB
3.Under Categories, select All Commands
4.Under Commands, select ToolsSpellingRecheckDocument.clip0127
5.Drag and drop into your toolbar where you want it or select the Keyboard button to assign it a hotkey.

Resolution

You should now have the option to re-check skipped words when you run Spellchecker on a Word document in Scribe.
