FAQ’s - Physician Records – MD platform:

 

1. I'm new, in general how do I use the system?

Click here to download the Scribe MD Welcome Guide which will give an overview to help them get started.

 

2. How do I change my password/pin number?

Simply login to the web site with and go to the Preferences tab. Click on the login link to the left and you'll be able to change either password or pin number or both.

 

3. I can't find the transcription I need.        

First check the pending section to see if the dictation has been transcribed. If it has, then use the search tools on the left side to find it by entering whatever information you know about the file. Note you can also search for transcriptions by using the dictation ID give to you on the phone when the dication was completed.

 

4. How can I see whether I sent a document to someone?

Click on the T icon from the file list or the Tracking button while you are looking at a file. It will pop-up a window showing you everything that has happened to the document - including who its been sent via fax or email too.

 

5. Can I fax or email my documents directly from my Scribe account?

Yes, simply click on the Send button to communicate your documents via email or fax.

 

6. How can I see what I've not printed?

Click the advanced search link on the left side of the inbox/archive. Use the tracked events drop-down boxes to filter for Not Printed - then select a time frame, and/or by anyone or just you from the drop-downs below. Then click the search button. The documents will then be presented in the list.

 

7. What if I want to print multiple documents?

Place a check mark in each of the documents you wish to print and click on the Print button. A new web browser window appears with all the documents included in one print job.

 

8. How can I find all patients that have a certain drug or condition?

Use the advanced search box on the left side and enter the text of the condition drug or other item you wish to search for. It will find all documents that have that text anywhere in the document.
