Problem
When using function keys in Scribe/Word (while Express Scribe is running) I get no, or unexpected results.
Probable Cause
As a default, ExpressScribe co-opts function keys used in other programs running simultaneously.
Solution
To free up function keys for use in Scribe/Word, do the following:
| 1. | Select “Settings”>”Control” tab. |
a. Remove all System-Wide Hot Key Assignments
Resolution
The function keys should now work correctly when using Word on the Scribe platform.
